Prologue
Everyday, I am observing the environment where I am living, but in a different way than others. People around me are really interesting. I love to observe them, to associate them some characteristics and to describe the manner people are doing things. I know… It sounds weird.
Didn’t you ever analyze the smile of your best friend? Well, I did. Those characteristics, I see them everyday.
Oh, I just noticed I forgot to tell you my name!
Well, my name is Jessica, but my best friend calls me Sichibi… and Tadpole…
YES, I am little, but it is not an important detail.
In my free time, I love to draw and to read, but not as much as my friend SeoHyun. What is funny about her is that while she’s reading, she’s always doing this devilish little grin, and each time, I am laughing as much as the first time.
This morning, I was at my locker and I was waiting for my best friend, Taeyeon. Since I know her, she always had this shy smile and this ‘‘cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute’’ and short laugh ‘Kihihihihihi’ that makes me smile too. She’s amazing at gymnastic and I am really impressed by all the movements she can do.
I remember the time we went to the park and she climbed up a module.
‘’Sichibi, look at me!’’, and she did a lot of somersaults and body spins.
I was protesting: ‘’NO! STOP YOU’LL FALL! STOPPPP’’, but she was continuing to scare me.
I heard soft steps and I turned back.
Oh my god.
She was in crutches.
- Taeyeonnie!!! WHAT HAPPENED OMG!
- I have a sprain.
- HOW DOES IT HAPPEN!? YOU DID A TRIPLE-BACK TURN AROUND FLIP AND YOU FELL?
- Well…hem… I was jumping on my feet and my ankle collapsed…
- Oh…hum…ok…
We talked a little bit, we put our books in our bags and we went upstairs just before the first bell rang.
